Running long distances takes up a lot of time – we asked the busy Team Montane athletes how they fit it all in…
“Don’t find time, make it,” says Debbie. “I don’t have nights out, lie-ins or the luxury of waiting for dry days. But running is more important to me. If you want something, you’ll find a way.”
What’s your Motivation?
Jayson says you really need to understand why you are training: “If your will is strong enough, you’ll make time for running.”
Jayson and Debbie both suggest using all or part of your commute to work as training. Even if you drive part of the way and run the rest, it all helps.
