Targeted at orienteerers and obstacle course racers, the Irock 2s were the lightest and most flexible on test, yet still offered enough protection to run over rocky terrain. The butyl rubber outsole has aggressive 7mm lugs, for a good grip in all conditions, while the 6mm drop gave a close-to-the-ground feel, suited to racing. Although advertised as narrow fit, the shoes needed lacing tightly and there was still room in the toe box. The Irock 2s suit a runner wanting to race or run fast on technical terrain.
A new lightweight shoe, ideal for racing on mixed ground.
