Saucony’s use of Gore-Tex means that mud and water simply roll off the shoe. Mud doesn’t get caught up in the materials, which can really wear a shoe down.

They sport a toe shell, but it’s pleasingly malleable, while still providing a good level of protection. The External Bedrock Outsole plate in the sole helps to protect the foot and, when coupled with PowerGrid cushioning (a lightweight cushioning, which provides good rebound), you have a solid but comfortable ride.

Deep square lugs surround the outside of the sole, while multi-directional triangular lugs fill the centre, providing great grip
for mud. This shoe has a 4mm drop.
