These are the lightest on test and are low-profile shoes (4mm drop), with lots of padding around the heel for comfort and security. Hexagonal lugs are about 4mm deep, which gives nice grip over muddy and dry gravel surfaces alike.
They’re an extremely narrow fit and don’t leave much room for expansion when the foot gets hot. They include a rock shield to help protect from sharp objects, and their rounded heel helps roll the foot through the running motion.
Addressing problems in previous models, there is a more pronounced groove (Omega Flex Grooves) in the sole to help with flexibility of the forefoot.
Try before you buy; they’re narrow but a nice shoe.
